Exorcizing Demons From YouTube

Now that Benny Hinn has finished casting demons out of various Christian preachers (see Free At Last blog entry below) he has taken to casting them out of YouTube. A while back I had a clip to YouTube of Benny Hinn (see "Benny Hinn prophecy of Jesus visiting Nairobi, Kenya in 2000" in April archives here) as well as "Televangelists Desire Death For Their Enemies" at the same link. These videos were removed from YouTube. Now the Independent Conservative blog is reporting that Hinn is having many of his clips removed from YouTube as well as videos ABOUT Hinn:

Consider this an addendum to the post about a video I uploaded to YouTube that has been removed. Please read my previous post to see details about that video and other details I won’t be repeating in this post. In short, Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries had YouTube remove many videos. Some were videos that were of Benny Hinn, others were videos simply talking about Benny Hinn and for some odd reason some of the videos removed were not about and did not mention Benny Hinn at all, but were still removed and carry a notice that he asked for them to go. All videos removed exposed false teaching and examples of abuse from the pulpit. This post will serve as a listing of videos that were removed. I am only listing what I know about now and will add more with future updates to this same post. You can always contact me with details about others that were removed and carry a noticed that they were dropped by legal request from Pastor Benny Hinn and the World Healing Church d/b/a Benny Hinn Ministries and I’ll try and add others to the list as I learn about them. It’s best if you know the title and have a direct link to the video that was removed and has the notice. Any other additional details are also helpful. In my opinion, we are witnessing a full effort to suppress the best examples of exposing false teaching, by showing clips of it to the world. Benny and his cohorts are embarrassed by the truth coming to light and are doing all they can to stop it.

Those false prophecies and threats can be so embarrassing!!!

Just to get your long weekend off to a roaring start, here's an old clip of Rodney Howard-Browne and Kenneth Copeland engaged in a little friendly dueling tongues, compete with joke telling. If you can understand the tongues, let us know what the joke was!!

On Monkeys And Little Old Ladies

Well, the prophetic Elijah List is all excited today. They think that Kim Clement finally hit a couple of prophecies on the head. They are reporting on two prophecies Clement posted on his website today dated May 10th and 11th. Naturally, Clement kept up his tradition of posting his prophecies after he thinks they have been fulfilled. The Elijah List writes:

Capuchin Monkey Dies of Plague at Zoo and officials are trying to prevent an epidemic

Click Here to read article (www.foxnews.com)

On May 11, Kim prophesied "go to the zoo and you will see it," so this article certainly caught our attention when it was posted yesterday. The full prophecy is below.

..."A Governor who is terrorized shall be removed. This will be a sign," says the Lord. Take this as a warning from the Lord God. "They have laughed at the Church, they have laughed at the organization that they have called the Church--they laughed, and so have I," says the Lord. "For this reminds Me of the synagogues of satan that have interrupted My liberty and My Spirit to move. There are three of them in this city that will no longer transcribe the doctrine of demons." For God said, "There is a doctrine of demons that has made you a laughing stock." God said, "In the presence of His people, let the prophet once again speak, that I will use Michigan to deal with the synagogues of satan. They have transcribed the doctrines of demons. You say, who?" God said, "Go to the zoo and you will see it." For God said, "They are acting as if they know much, removing godliness and purity. These churches say, 'The Spirit has done all that He can do.' But little do they know--as remotely as I raised up the little child, Jesus, in a stable, so I will take 17 churches to 23 churches in the Michigan area that are nothing and raise them up, and they will strike down the doctrines of demons by My grace giving them miracles and miracles and miracles and miracles and miracles and miracles," says the Spirit of God!

60-Year-Old Woman becomes the oldest in the United States to give birth to Twins

Click Here to read article (www.foxnews.com)

On May 12, Kim prophesied "in the month of May a double portion shall be granted to the wombs of the women." These twin boys were born just yesterday, and the mom and twins are healthy. The full prophecy is below.

The Spirit of God said, "A generation of young men and women are ready to be raised up, that's why the enemy would take them out of your womb, that's why the enemy would try and steal from the womb from a young age the children of this day. But I say to you this night that if the enemy would do this to you, then I will pay you back with multiplication. Because he has come on illegal terms and taken what is rightfully Mine, for if your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then you are Mine," says the Lord. "Therefore, even as wombs have experienced death, and barrenness has been the order of the day; so it is cleared up in the month of May. For in the month of May a double portion shall be granted to the wombs, a double portion shall be granted to the wombs of the women, and those that have not given birth when they should have," says the Lord, "And so it shall be that in this month multiplication shall take place. Can anybody see it?"
He's got me convinced! I would certainly equate going to the zoo and doctrines of demons with a monkey dying of a plague, wouldn't you? And I mean, what are the odds on the number of women who have twins on any given day? Astronomically high, right? Way to go, Kim!

Free At Last!!!

Benny Hinn is holding a crusade in Uganda this week, and he has been doing the Christian world a huge favour - freeing famous pastors of demons!! From the African newspaper "The Monitor" comes this news:

May 21, 2007 Monday

Uganda;

Demons Cast Out of Kayanja, Namutebi

UGANDAN evangelists Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre, Imelda Namutebi of Liberty Worship Centre and a host of prominent pastors famed for driving away demons, succumbed to Benny Hinn miraculous demon-freeing powers.

Pastors including Gary Skinner of Kampala Pentecostal Church, Alex Mitala, and Isaac Kiweewesi on Saturday at Namboole Stadium, fell to the ground when Pastor Benny Hinn ordered demons to free them.

A fully packed stadium, believers were mystified by the preaching and cheered as scores of senior pastors in the country fell to the ground by the mere swing of Pastor Hinn's hand.

"Pick him (Kayanja) up," Pastor Hinn ordered his ushers as Pastor Kayanja was on the ground unconscious. "Get your blessing now to spread the Gospel," Paster Hinn said with confidence.

The famed American evangelist then turned to pastor Imelda Namutebi, famous for throwing people to the ground; "Receive your blessing." Ms Namutebi dropped to the ground.

Joy filled the crowds as renowned pastors in tears struggled to come on their feet. "Forget the past you are now a new person start preaching the Gospel of God to the people," Hinn told Kayanja whose cheeks were watered with tears.

A submissive and cleansed Kayanja confessed that while on he lay on the ground, he saw Jesus. "I can't believe it, When I was on the ground I saw Jesus," Paster Kayanja testified.

Robert Kayanja is an occasional guest preacher on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Finally, we're going to see some demon-free preaching from this guy and the others!!!

Biblical Illiteracy

Yes, I'm still here - just hasn't been any good heresy worth writing about lately! I can't understand that, given the article in Pennsylvania's Times Leader on Saturday:

Failing the Bible
Polls: Too few Americans remember what’s in Good Book
PAUL ASAY The Gazette (Colorado Springs, Colo.)

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Americans like their religion. Nearly half go to church regularly, according to a study by the University of Michigan, and at least 85 percent believe in God, according to a study by Baylor University. Our money reads “In God We Trust,” and we buy Bibles by the bushel.

But when it comes to reading and remembering what’s in the Good Book, Americans just plain stink. According to a 2004 Gallup poll sponsored by the Bible Literacy Project, American teens barely know their 10 Commandments from their 12 disciples, or their Pauls from their Peters.

Of the more than 1,000 teens polled, only a third could pick out a quotation from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount, and 25 percent didn’t think that the Old Testament’s King David was king of the Jews. Harper’s magazine reports that 12 percent of Americans say Joan of Arc was Noah’s wife.

That’s an issue, experts say, considering how much world literature, American history and Western culture owes the book. Many high school teachers and college professors say we’re raising a bunch of biblical nimrods, and that it’s time to teach — but not preach — the Old and New Testaments in public schools.

“This is definitely about education,” said Sheila Weber, vice president of communications for the Bible Literacy Project. “The Bible is the foundational document for Western civilization and the best-selling book of all time.”

Weber is biased. The Bible Literacy Project produces a textbook titled “The Bible and its Influence,” one of a handful of Bible-centric textbooks geared toward public schools.

But she’s not alone. For its April 2 edition, Time magazine published a cover story on the issue, and, according to the Gallup study, high school and college English teachers are nearly unanimous in calling for more biblical education. The works of William Shakespeare alone contain more than 1,300 biblical references, and they want their students to get them.

Even the non-Christians realize the need for an understanding of the Bible. So where are the churches going wrong when their pews are filled with biblically-illiterate "Christians" who, for the most part, can't be distinguished from the secular world?

The Conversion of Frank Beckwith

Gene Edward Veith makes some excellent points in todays Cranach blog entry about apologist Frank Beckwith's reasons for returning to Roman Cathlicism:

Dr. Beckwith is a good guy. When Baylor tried to get rid of him for being too conservative, I covered the story in WORLD MAGAZINE. In our conversations, I was greatly impressed with him. I won't quibble with his reasons. I just offer a few comments:

(1) Dr. Beckwith cited the concordat between Lutherans and Roman Catholics on justification by faith. Now that the two sides agree on that central issue of the Reformation, he has said, there is no reason not to return to the historical Church of Rome. (I have heard other converts to Rome say the same thing.)

Please: Looking to liberal Lutherans for Lutheranism is like looking to liberal Presbyterians for Calvinism, or liberal Catholics for Catholicism. (Dr. Beckwith will go crazy when he has to deal with the feminist nuns and the pro-abortion college professors). What the liberal Lutherans of the Lutheran World Federation signed was a document in which both sides agreed to use the same terminology, while meaning different things by the words.

The rest of his entry is worth a read as well, especially for the mega-church crowd.

Is This What Is Meant By the "Fall of Mankind"?

The Lansing State Journal reports:
A pastor being sued by a former member of his church testified this morning that he was angry that she filed the lawsuit.

"I was being sued by somebody who I didn't know was my enemy," David Russell Williams said this morning in testimony in Eaton County Circuit Court.

Judith Dadd, 52, of Lansing is suing Mount Hope Church, based in Delta Township, and Williams. She says she went to the altar during a July 18, 2002 rally for church leaders and was "slain in the Spirit" according to testimony. She fell backward and struck her head on the floor. Dadd claims she still suffers from the effects of the fall, including depression, memory loss and difficulty concentrating.

Badmouthing the Blogger

The World From Our Window blog has this quote from Os Guinness while on The White Horse Inn radio show:

Michael Horton: "What are some of the distractions from the truth today? Because a lot of evangelicals will not recognize anything we've been saying for the last half-hour. They'll say, 'Have you not read our NAE statement? Have you not seen what we believe, and what we teach? Just ask me, I don't have a low view of Scripture.'"

Os Guinness: "Well, it comes down in the rain, or it comes through your mother's milk in this country. I mean, things are simple in Europe; most people make their political decisions based on reading newspapers -- in America from watching television. You know, you take something irrational as currently as the blogs; now the blogs are partly a useful counter check on the public media, but if you ever want an explosion -- an orgy or irrationality and emotionality -- look at the blogs. And this is our world -- a world of television image, makeovers, blogs, impression management, and so on. You know, we are living in a world that undermines truth almost every time you turn around."
What a lot of nonsense!!! I am not irrational and emotional!!!!!!! Anybody with an ounce of sense knows that all these heretical movements I report about are part of an interplanetary conspiracy to overthrow the one true church - which is located just outside of Moscow - and usher in the anti-antichrist! I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Os is out of this world as well!

With Great Humility I Proudly Accept This Award!

The Rev. Pr. Walter Snyder over at Ask The Pastor has awarded me the Thinking Blogger Award. The Thinking Blogger website asks that recipients do the following:
The participation rules are simple:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn't fit your blog).
In keeping with the spirit of this award, I am listing five blogs that make me think. Besides Ask the Pastor and Rev. Snyder's other blogs (I'm assuming I can't nominate him back again):
  1. Gene Edward Veith's Cranach blog. This is usually the first blog I check out every morning.
  2. Pastor Don Engebretson's Northwoods Seelsorger blog. He always has something interesting to say.
  3. Orycteropus Afer's Aardvark Alley. He writes some great articles on the Christian saints of the past.
  4. Ben Witherington. Although he isn't Lutheran, we can make allowances for that and offer him an open invitation to become one! He's written some great books.
  5. Schaaf's Koph by Pastor Kent Schaaf. Another one who always has something thought-provoking to say.

What IS Your Identity?

Atheist Penn Jillette would have a field day with this one. I just received an e-mail from a Jeremy Lopez advertizing his organization called "The Identity Network." It turns out to be another prophetic website and through them you can receive a personalized Word from the Lord - for only $25! Some excerpts:

Would you like for us to pray and see if God has a word for you?

Please send your name to the address below.

REMEMBER, YOU ARE NOT "BUYING" THE WORD OF THE LORD. WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN SELLING THE WORD OF THE LORD!

Please give a minimum donation of $25.00 to help support this ministry.

You will receive a tape in the mail with your personal prophetic word from the Lord on it. The word of God is always free though.

We simply ask only out of the love that you have from the Father to bless this ministry. Can you really put a price or a minimum on hearing God's awesome prophetic word that WILL change your life forever! Is He not worth given whatever we have to just hear Him speak to us?

Please remember to take the word of the Lord seriously. It is not for sale.

THE PROPHETIC WORD OF THE LORD IS FREELY GIVEN BY GOD, BUT THE TAPES AND SHIPPING ARE NOT. (THIS MINISTRY IS FINANCED ONLY BY YOUR LOVE OFFERINGS)

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL FOR WORD.

I once had someone ask me, "Bro. Jeremy, Why would you ask for money to give a prophetic word?"

ANSWER: Very simple, ALL through the Old Testament, if you went to a prophet, you always carried a gift or an offering. Not because you were trying to "buy" a word or that the prophet was trying to "sell" the word. It was simply out of respect. To honor the "gift" (prophet) that God had given. Remember, it is all about God, not the person. But God did say, "for the worker deserves his wages." Luke 10:07.

The Bible also says, "Give and it shall be given back to you."
Confusing, isn't it? The prophetic word is free, but the tape isn't, but we don't want you to e-mail us for the prophetic word. Right!
