Wow. I thought with a title like that that maybe a "good construction" could be placed on the video. Nope, that's a full blown denial of the divinity of Christ. Arius would be proud.
Wow, if this video is legit it is very compelling evidence he is a false prophet and a tool of the Antichrist. I always new there was shifty about good old Mr. Dollar
It is for real. I saw the show when it originally aired a few years ago and have it recorded. Came across it again by chance on YouTube. He doesn't deny that Jesus is God. What he says is that He didn't come as God, but became perfect and God at a later point. Pure heresy nevertheless. If Jesus was ever less than perfect then He was a sinner.
Heresy Hunter: You said, "If Jesus was ever less than perfect then He was a sinner." But that depends on your definition of perfection and the clip does not give me enough information to make a determination as to Dollar's definition in this context.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no Creflo Dollar fan, but it is possible that his view falls within the bounds of orthodoxy. For example, if he understands perfection in the ultimate sense to be "all that God is potentially and actually, and without limitation" then Jesus was indeed imperfect. Because, if Jesus were perfect in this ultimate sense, no room is left for his humanity and we lapse into docetism.
