The Apostle Paul Was Wrong

John Paul Jackson, once known back in the 1980s as one of the Kansas City Prophets, has some words of wisdom on The Elijah List today.

"For most Christians in the Western world, the reason our faith lacks signs and wonders is not that God wants us to be sick or that He uses sickness to prove a point; it is that we sincerely don't know Jesus."
Unfortunately, the Apostle Paul wasn't as wise as today's prophets when he told Timothy,
"Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses." (1 Tim. 5:23)
Paul should have exercised some of those signs and wonders - pity he didn't know Jesus.
